What does a mortgage broker do?
A mortgage broker acts as the middleman between you and the banks. Is using a mortgage broker free?

Can doctors and medical professionals get LMI waived?
Yes. Select lenders offer LMI waivers for eligible medical professionals including GPs, specialists, dentists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, optometrists, and vets — allowing them to borrow up to 90–95% LVR without paying LMI. Can I buy in Mosman or Vaucluse with a 5% deposit?

How much deposit do I need?
Most lenders require a minimum 5% deposit for owner-occupied homes. With less than 20% you'll generally pay Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) — unless you qualify for a government scheme like the First Home aim to achieve or a profession-based LMI waiver. We find ways to minimise or eliminate LMI wherever possible.
